We expect you at 14:30 (10 minutes before the start) at the Security Desk at the entrance of the site (Drienemansweg 1, Almelo).
Important Safety Regulations & Conditions
Due to strict safety requirements, the following rules apply on the Urenco site:
Mobility: You must be independently mobile and physically fit, able to walk for at least 45 minutes and climb steel grated stairs. Mobility aids (such as a cane, rollator, or leaning on someone's arm) are not permitted. It is not possible to only attend the presentation.
Identification: Please bring a valid passport or ID card (a driver's license is not accepted). You will not be granted access without valid identification.
Dress Code: Wear long trousers (dresses, skirts, and shorts are not permitted) and sturdy, closed-toe shoes (no sandals or high heels).
Personal Belongings & Smoking Policy: The site is entirely smoke-free. Phones, cameras, bags, and other loose items are not allowed on the tour, but you can leave them in a locker at security.
Program
14:30: Report to the Security Desk (ID check and badge issuance)
14:45: Welcome in the Visitor Centre with coffee/tea
15:00: General introduction and company presentation
16:00: Tour of the SP5 uranium enrichment plant
Approx. 17:00: End of visit
Please note: Operational or unforeseen circumstances may make it necessary to (partially) adjust or cancel the tour.
